What Magick can Protect you from and types of Energy Defense

I hope everyone understands the concept of magick defense/protection. It is the field of magick practice directed towards protecting something of value and making sure that it is not stolen/harmed. So what can maigck defense protect you from?

1. From magick influence – protection from the work of other practitioners, from a direct magick attack;
2. From various types of circumstances/events – brining needed adjustment to circumstances and events around a person with the goal to protect/save what is valuable for him or her; there are also cases when magick attacks are repelled through person’s inner circle, when attack is carried out indirectly and influences the inner space of a person.

Protection magick can be tentatively divided into the following categories:
• Magick protection of life and health – helps decrease and all the way to elimination of possible accidents, assaults etc. This type of defense is needed for people who often face danger due to hazards of their workplace – police, firemen, politicians, criminals, etc… Can also be quite in demand for mothers who want to protect their children from traumas, sexual assault, etc.
• Protecting the safety of assets – a house, an apartment, a car, etc. from all kinds of harm including theft /burglary (there are various rune protection stave that you can find).
• Protection of relationships/marriage – from love magick, from jealousy and unfaithfulness.
• Protection from magick influence/negative energy – evil eye, curses, negative vibes and various combination.
• Protection of business from competition – it can be very beneficial when you constantly getting attacked by competitors physically, emotionally as well as through magick.
• Individual type of defense/protection of a person/project/business – personal guidance of a person or a company, having a mage on a “payroll” who constantly working/renewing energy protection. For example, a business owner is in risky business, yet does want protection from too much risk. Each business deal/meeting is made under the guidance of a mage/practitioner who can warn about possible dangers and show the best solution of any situation. Sometimes mages are hired to protect the interests of one family.

Individual types of energy protection are often needed for people who have a so-called karmic overload. For people who constantly experience all kinds of trouble and accidents in one or several areas of life. For example, you just fixed your car, and you get in an accident again, and this is fifth time in the last 3 months, and before everything was going well. In those cases energy defense/protection can help with dealing with karma and prevent big losses.

Generally speaking, there are a lot of areas and purposes for energy protection and there are various methods for it. Many times, a combination of magickal methods is used to reach the best possible results. Here are several types of energy protection to consider: passive, active and preemptive.

The way of passive energy defense works can be simply compared to a bulletproof west. Imagine that a person is shot with birdshot (pellet), but all vital organs are protected. The bulletproof vest will save from all the deadly hits, and those that got an arm or a leg are not lethal. This way the possible harm to a person is brought to a minimum, and he or she just got small bits of the “disaster” that was on the way. This kind of “bulletproof vest” will protect until it wears out or until its energy that a practitioner charged it with gets depleted. When will the energy run out? It really depends hos often the vest is being used. If there are no magick attacks and no karmic tension then it can last for a long time (maybe a few years). However, if it is constantly bombarded and in active state then it can wear out rather quickly (a few months).

Passive energy defense can be installed directly into the person’s energy field as well as on a certain object that a person would have to carry around with him or her (amulet, talisman). Then there is so called redirection type of protection – it is when after a certain ritual instead of a person the hit is redirected to an animal, tree, stone (or another person).

Active types of energy defense work like a bodyguard or a security guard depending on if it is a person or assets that need protection. The role of the bodyguard is played out by an entity that mage was able to agree with to do the job. It can be attached directly to the energy field of a person or to an object that a person would have to carry around or keep it at the house or office. How long will the entity protect the person? It will depend on the time period agreed with the mage, it could be anything all the way to a lifetime – the one requesting active energy defense makes a deal with the mage and mage makes a deal with an entity-guard. If the agreement only for a set period of time, then the entity is given a certain amount of energy as payment (like a battery). If the energy protection is set to a lifetime, then the entity is directly attached to the energy field of a person and charges through the energy the person produces.

It is important to point out that active types of energy defense have different power – there could be more powerful ones and less powerful ones. It all depends on the entity the mage was able to agree with – the mage can hire a soldier that would protect you or a general that has an army of soldiers. How does a mage choose which kind of guardian to use? It all depends on the client’s needs and abilities of an entity. Of course, the skills of a mage and experience of working with active types of energy protection are very important as well. It is important to correctly choose the guardian entity according to its power as well as “modality”, its skills and qualities (there is no reason to judge a fish by the way it climbs the trees). Sometimes several guardians are installed – every guardian in its own field of function (business, relationships, health, assets). How does such bodyguard work? It can actually go for different types of scenarios depending on the situation:

• It can work preemptively – for example, if it is a security guard of assets: your neighbor is planning rob you tomorrow, however he wakes up in the morning with a fever and will not be able to carry out his plan;
• It can warn you of a danger – you would start having obsessive thoughts and unexplainable desire to step away from a certain place, the place where a brick will fall in just a minute;
• It can personally protect you, and if wasn’t able to do it in time, then the aggressor will be punished. The person who stole 10 Euros from you, would lose ten times more.

Preemptive type of energy protection will make sure that undesired situation, where a person can lose life, health, money, will be avoided. Who is the one providing energy protection here? Usually energy protection in this case is carried out through mechanisms of a system (egregore) or through a patron being (it can be a being of high hierarchy or the highest). How do they protect?

• They actively influence the situation around the person. The goal of such protection is to identify a certain harmful situation and make sure the danger is avoided. For example, a deal is cancelled for a strange reason (the reason being that the other side was trying cheat the person under protection), the person can miss the flight that is going to crash, etc.
• If the danger event is unavoidable then a person gets a warning. The bigger the possible harm the louder is the warning. It can come through dreams, intuition, loosing desire to go somewhere or have relationships with someone.
