What does Energy Diagnosis mean? Beginner’s guide to Divination

Most people who are reading this article most likely at least once heard the term “diagnosis”. Magick practitioners refer to this term as “energy diagnosis” (also known as divination) in most cases, and it can confuse some beginners.

So, what is it really?

Behind what may seem as a mystery, it is actually quite straightforward. You can encounter the term “diagnosis” in vocabulary of doctors, computer specialists, car mechanics, etc. What does it mean when they use it? Identifying/revealing malfunctions in the area of their expertise.

It is pretty much the same when it comes to the field of magick practice. The only difference is the area that is being diagnosed.

So what kinds of magick or energy diagnosis is there?

Each practitioner has his or her own preferences and accumulated experience with a certain tool or method. Most common or general methods are: Runes, Tarot, clairvoyance, extrasensory perception, cards (playing decks as well as various Oracle related decks), pendulum, beeswax. None of these methods better than the other. Each one has its advantages and nuances.

What are the types of magick or energy diagnosis?

1. General diagnosis.
A person is analyzed on the general level. What kind of challenges a person is currently dealing with, what is his or her current energy state/activity, overall energy flow, etc. This helps practitioner to see who is he or she dealing with and when the overall energy analysis is presented, it often impresses/astounds the client This type of diagnosis also helps practitioner to reveal the challenges that need to be resolved and fields he or she would have to work with.

2. Diagnosis of negative energy
Probably one the most demanded types of diagnosis today. It is just the ways humans are. We can “catch”/attract negative energy anywhere via all kind of ways/means. There is countless number of different types of negative energy – from a mere everyday negative evil eye to a targeted curse. This type of diagnosis helps to identify/reveal the negative energy, details of its manifestation, where it came from and more importantly help determine the way to remove it.

3. Diagnosis of current chakra (energy centers) state
This kind of examination can help identify the current state of each chakra and reveal possible energy blockages. If a practitioner is able to see the issues, he or she can offer energy clearing or charge chakras with energy when needed. I believe this type of diagnosis is clear. It helps reveal possible problems, discover causes and find solutions to what may seem as a crisis situation.

6. Diagnosis of relationships.
One of the most popular types together with negative energy diagnosis. It is a very good way to save relationships and take them to the next level. Through various methods, it is possible to reveal who each person in the relationships really is, what do they expect or really want from the relationships and what has to be done for both to live in peace and harmony. This diagnosis also includes various types of relationships – business, personal or family. It helps to define tactics or how you should act in regards to your partners and what do they really want from you.

7. Diagnosis of the current financial state.
This one seems to be quite clear as well. It helps reveal the cause of financial challenges and help find the most effective ways to increase your state of wealth.

8. Diagnosis of a magick ritual
This one is mainly used by the practitioners. It is a way to identify if a given magick ritual is not a fake, how it will work for the practitioner, what would be the consequences, results and all other questions related to the ritual.

9. Rune stave diagnosis.
This type of diagnosis helps reveal if the stave fits your needs, what kind of effect it will have, will there be any side effects, what is the best medium for it, etc. In general, it helps to clear all possible questions related to activating a rune formula/stave that resonated with you. It also helps when you encountered a formula/stave without any description from the author, so that you can independently identify what areas the stave is intended for.
