During the ancient times of Lemuria, humanity practically had no mental development, their logical mind was barely present. People of the time where more spirituals than intellectual. Nevertheless, people of ancient Lemuria, had extraordinary abilities, that modern humanity have lost and unsuccessfully trying to get them back.
Throughout the history of this planet there were always two categories of humans. There was common folk, the majority of people, and a very limited number of people who were considered to be initiated to the secrets of Existence/Universe. Those who were initiated would create for themselves and for those who they supported/favored (as a rule it was leaders of tribes and their close circle) what we would call today talismans or amulets.Lemurian talismans carried a colossal amount of power. The main reason was that people were much closer to Nature than now. It was the time when mental principles were not a barrier to channeling divine knowledge into the consciousness of the humanity. The main challenges that the Lemurian humanity had to face was a powerful animal kingdom, which at times devastated or completely annihilated many nomadic human tribes.
Those who were initiated to higher knowledge developed methods and mechanisms that allowed a common Lemurian folk of the ancient times identify/register needed impulses in their consciousness coming from their divine nature and surrounding space through talismans. It was done in order to support, protect and increase the human race/kin/ancestry. The talismans helped with reaching desired goals in different areas of human life and wellbeing. Talismans would awake certain people and motivate them towards self-development, which was the highest forms of achievement/value during those times. They would not only help increase material wealth/wellbeing, to have power over other people, ability to avoid accidents/trouble, protect the ancestry line, but also helped develop divine qualities of a human character.
It is important to notice that there was no such concept as finances in the ancient Lemuria. However, in the later times, it would be identified as acquiring material wealth according to modern notions.
In the modern world, in many cases humanity is striving to possess the same things a man from those distant times was drawn to.
Taking into account the fact the modern world is entering the Age of Aquarius with its powerful energies; it will condition human life towards development of group consciousness. Thus, such concepts as magic, ritual, talisman, will become more and more popular and become a part of the human consciousness. During the new turn on the spiral of the human evolution, such sciences as magic and alchemy, as well as human abilities of clairvoyance and clairaudience will get a new wave in their advancement. Such concepts as individual approach and personal talisman would also become more and more acceptable in the modern reality.
